Living the Life

Sarah was once a web designer, but has since escaped the hurly burly of life in corporate Oxfordshire and relocated to Somerset for a quieter life of dogs, countryside and cider. She’s a passionate advocate of all things natural, recycled and ethical and is trying to construct her new life around these principles, which she believes help to make her bit of the world a better place.

She’s a born creative and loves any chance to get her hands dirty with a new project, no matter whether it’s getting mucky in the garden, repainting the house or engaging in new photographic persuits. She’s just bought her first house and views it very much as an ongoing art project. There are constant things to do, be they major things like tiling a floor or smaller things like stripping down painted shelves, painting walls and making cushions and curtains.

This blog is a journal of her life as a homemaker, and building a new life in the Somerset Countryside.
