poem from a prayerformance I conducted last week:

Blast offerings lifting,
all I’s focusing inward,
the space ships within
commencing,
whispers, streaming forth
a common path, that which subtly shifts
the quickening longing
to love, to give, to offer, in light, that which is I.
Dreamtime statuettes, traced around each face.
each smiling eye that beams with uncertainty
these, are your brothers and sisters, your sons and daughters
this is the dream team you’ve chosen,
a miraculous intermingling of flesh and spiraling life force,
brilliant hues dancing upon the surface of each smiling thought form
connecting with each smiling thought form connecting with each smiling thought form
In THESE I’s, she preaches
singing the hymns of rainbow blood.
We The People
we the conquerers of matter, the causes,
sailors of the night shade light socket luxury cruise ship of eternity,
your eyes are burning bliss holes through the fabric of every fibrous yes membrane that composes this intrinsically giving suit of constancy,
ALL ARE WEARING
all hard wired with the frequency to spawn a new breed of human being.
the countdown beginning within.
the pyramidal bass drum
providing the foundation for lights upward movement, the boom, boom, boom of mamas heart beat,
the tune that needs every voice to make her melody.
The Room that decides to conjure up each starlight shuffle kung fu kick dance move ever invented
YOU ARE THE ANOINTED,
your burning body, brilliant, standing on the tip of the iceberg, but rapidly melting the ice beneath as you slide into the body that’s been hidden, until now,
until this very moment, when you decide
I am going to love you

Oh but what a beautiful post. And how it echoes of my teenage years. I remember having crushes on boys, and being told by friends that I could make them love me if I just acted differently. Even then, as swamped as I was by troubles and angsty wild emotions, I couldn’t understand how stopping being “me” could in anyone’s perspective be a good idea. How could changing the very base of my wild, wacky, wonderful self be worth the affection of a simple boy?

Good on you for taking the technicolour and seeing it as the brilliance it is.

reflecting subtle sentiments that buzz brightly, the rainbow hues of each pin prick dance into the shape of a 60 foot tall stained glass cathedral window
behind which i stand, float actually
and she just on the other side
both with hands behind backs and upper bodies tilted forward, as if examining the paint strokes upon our favorite master piece.
she found me
with her words
she found me
with the quality of attention with which she rendered one scene
one fragment of the miraculous book that is her life
and with she as my muse, I know,
and with I as hers, she knows, the spiral staircase our inspiration makes will never stop ascending.
and allowing each steps, which in the past only angels could take
but in this here and now
higher mind demands our attention
demands the dragons voice be heard
for all who have ears to hear
who have hearts ripe for blossoming
for some the time is not yet
for, to scribe the tales of the dragons mind is a task which most find exhausting
but many lives lived in the service of she and he who’s love making forms the fabric of existence itself, lends an insight, a strength, a divine creative mandate beyond intellectual comprehension, the words point to it, but are not it, the heart mind mutates into a serpent whose only task is the revelation of the love from which ALL LIFE EMERGES.

a perfect reflection is she,
proof that distance, time, space
hold no sway over that which must be born within each heart
she beholds I and I am grateful.

I’m a newcomer to your blog (and Twitter) but this post speaks to me lots! I’m a huge fan of well done and thoughtful tattoos, I have one currently and am thinking about a second. I can understand what you say completely about your thought process, particularly about employers’ views of them. I’ve noticed over the last year or two just how many people you spot with visible tattoos, attitudes definitely seem to be changing.

I think you’re doing the right thing, take the time to really work out what you want and where – you’ll be glad in years to come that you did.

I just think it’s so inpirational and achievable, if only we can find a little time to apply ourselves. I think we’d be happier people within ourselves for it, as well as making substantial changes to our environment.

This one organization, harnessing the power of thousands, eventually hundreds of thousands and, I can only hope, millions of people worldwide to make small, incremental changes in our daily lives, has the potential to change the world in just four years.

Imagine living in a peaceful world, all six point something billion of us, in harmony with the Earth and each other, with full bellies, medical care and opportunities to be the best each of us can be.
