This is not your average blog. I am not your average blogger. This is not a blog of answers, nor is it a blog of questions. It could be a blog of perspectives, or opinions, it might be a blog of insights. I cannot claim this to be a blog of any wisdom whatsoever but none of that is the POINT.
We look to everywhere else for answers. We seek answers in structures and people. We want our answers clean and easy and without any goddamned effort. But that’s not how wisdom or satisfaction is gained. We sweat, we toil and we get dirty. Sometimes it’s not pretty and sometimes it’s just goddamned ugly but inside it all, it’s precious and beautiful and it’s all we’ve got.
This is about my wisdom and my path to find beauty and magic in the everyday. It’s in the food we eat, the air we breathe, the things we see and hear, the books we read, it’s in the earth we tread, the interactions we make and the stories we tell.
